Psychological Assessment
A diagnostic psychological assessment is a journey for a client. We acknowledge that the cost of assessment can be overwhelming and burdensome. We aim to be transparent with our services. Below is a detailed session structure to support your understanding of what is involved.
Autism Spectrum Disorder
Child/Adolescent
The cost of the assessment is $2400.00 in total. This fee includes the comprehensive report that outlines the DSM-5-TR criteria for Autism Spectrum Disorder. A 50% deposit is required to secure the appointment, with the remainder to be paid at the time of the appointment.
Rebates: There is some rebate available from Medicare, however, this varies. We suggest you talk to Medicare about this. The item codes are 82000 for psychology.

Adult

Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder
Child/Adolescent
The cost of the assessment is $1850.00 in total. This fee includes the comprehensive report that outlines the DSM-5-TR criteria for Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. A 50% deposit is required to secure the appointment, with the remainder to be paid at the time of the appointment.
Rebates: There are no Medicare rebates for this assessment. You may be able to claim a rebate from your private health insurer and we encourage you to contact your health insurer for this information.
Please be mindful the report can take up to 3 weeks.
Adult
The cost of the assessment is $1850.00. This fee includes the comprehensive report that outlines the DSM-5-TR criteria for Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. A 50% deposit is required to secure the appointment, with the remainder to be paid at the time of the appointment.
Rebates: Medicare rebates are not available for ADHD assessments. You may be able to claim a rebate from your private health insurer and we encourage you to contact your health insurer for this information.
A Psychologist cannot provide pharmaceutical interventions (stimulant/non-stimulant or any other medication). Pharmaceutical interventions are provided by a Psychiatrist.

Intellectual Disability and Learning Disorders
Child/Adolescent
The cost of the assessment is $1850 in total. This fee includes the comprehensive report that outlines the DSM-5-TR criteria for either Intellectual or Specific Learning Disorder. A 50% deposit is required to secure the appointment, with the remainder to be paid at the time of the appointment.
Rebates: There are no Medicare rebates for learning / educational assessments.
Please be mindful the report can take up to 3 weeks.
Appointment duration: 55 minutes
Sessions rates: $195.00 per appointment
Medicare rebates are available with a Mental Health Care Plan for individual appointments. A Medicare rebate of $96.65 is available for up to 20 sessions.
Private Health rebates may be available depending on health fund.
Cancellation Policy: Appointments are precious and we appreciate being given at least 24 hours notice if you can not attend. For cancellations under 24 hours, 50% of the session rate will apply with no Medicare rebate.
